Find your student family.
Regardless of faith, beliefs, origin or nationality, ‘community’ is the thing that defines us as human and it is people that make places memorable. At Park Hill‘s Béton House, we’ve created a secure micro-society by providing streets in the sky as well as numerous well-designed social spaces for residents…whilst all the time, the neighbourhood continues to win over the city with its growing common-spirited mix of residents, visitors, businesses and workers.
Forget ‘student’. This place sets the standard of excellence for accommodation in Sheffield generally. Our legendary amenity spaces encourage residents to gather, dwell and interact away from the privacy of bedrooms – a key consideration in maximising student welfare. For example, the residents’ lounge is designed by Ben Kelly Design, famous for the seminal ‘Hacienda’ nightclub in Manchester; our highly-specified fitness studio is open 24/7; there’s a private study/dining space; oh, and we’ve a cinema room too. Beat that, Ritz-Carlton.
Park Hill has already gained a reputation as a cultural hub in the city. Aside from roughly 500 existing residential pioneers, there’s a great mix of businesses including the legendary Warp Films, whilst S1 Artspace are in the process of creating a complex of new studios and a purpose-built gallery (plus a cafe and education/community facilities) in one of the other Park Hill blocks. Sometimes great things just seem to ‘happen’ here such as pop-up cinemas and parkour – Béton House is that kind of place.
We’ve developed lots of student accommodation over the years, therefore we fully understand the challenges you’ll face in life. And at Béton House, we’ll be continuing our work to achieve the very highest standards of resident care. Security has been a key focus throughout the design process – and we’ll have brilliant site-wide customer service from professional facilities management staff trained in maintaining student wellbeing. Safe. And sound.
